Parish Plan 2016

Parish-Plan-2016
27 August 2020

A Parish Plan is a document which sets out how the residents of a village want to see their community develop in the future.

Parish, Neighbourhood and Local Plans stem from a Government initiative to encourage individuals to become more involved in what is happening where they live, so that their views are taken into account before any planning decisions are made and also to influence how local services are delivered.

Everybody in this village was given the opportunity to have their say about issues affecting our community in the Parish Plan Questionnaire (circulated to every household in January 2014) also during the Consultation about Traffic Calming and if they visited the Parish Council’s Stand at the village Fun Day (12 July 2014).

A Steering Committee, independent of the Parish Council, was set up which collated all the views, ideas and suggestions collected and produced a Parish Plan.
